A nature paradise a few minutes away from the centre of Vicenza, a town of prime art and business importance.
Located at the foot of the fine hills surrounding the town, Vicenza Golf Club gives the chance of doing the most
exciting sport in the world in a highly prized landscape. The ancient Scola - Camerini castle, along with Romeo
and Juliet castles on the background and the splendid Loschi - Zileri mansion frescoed by Tiepolo are the frame
of this golf course. The Club House was established by a forward-looking Bruno Cielo, a businessman with a great
passion for golf, as well as out of the idea that this beautiful sport would increasingly mean time to relax for
people living and working in the city. These beliefs were the grounds for the wonderful enterprise which began in
1988 and led to the building of the course and The Club House. The course is harmoniously embedded into the
surrounding environment by using as hazards in the game a few small ponds - a halting place for the blue herons
and other migratory birds stopping here for a rest. The Golf Club is a lung of green for the preservation of
the natural attractions which have always surrounded the town of Vicenza and its hills.
